Silent Witnesses: This Is Art!

Painter and photographer Selman Uzun recently introduced his painting exhibition titled “Silent Witnesses”, consisting of his works made with acrylic technique on canvas, to art lovers at SANKO Art Gallery.

Selman Uzun emphasized that art is beautiful when shared and said, "I am excited to bring the emotions we experience together with art lovers, and I am interpreting the documentary footage I took in nature on my canvas with the starting point in my exhibition titled 'Silent Witnesses'."
Uzun stated that being in nature, being in contact with living things and documenting their living conditions is very valuable to him, and said, “I dedicated myself to the silent witnesses of nature.”
Artist of Silent Witnesses
Selman Uzun was born in Sotka, Trabzon. After graduating from the Painting Department of Trabzon High School, he graduated with honors from the Visual Arts Teaching Department of Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Fine Arts. Uzun, who has opened seven solo exhibitions, has participated in 345 mixed exhibitions and fairs in Turkey and abroad. The artist, who has two awards in painting and photography, has works in private collections, has also prepared many documentaries. The artist, who is a representative, news director and art director in local and national channels, continues to shoot documentaries on the birds of Trabzon in addition to his work in his studio in Trabzon.
