Star of Dennis the Menace Character Passes Away!

Sad news from Jay North, the famous actor who gave life to the legendary child character of the 90s, "Dennis the Menace". North, who had been battling cancer for a long time, was unable to hold on to life.

North, who died yesterday morning at his home in the United States at the age of 73, became famous with the TV series "Dennis the Menace." The character he played, Dennis Mitchell, represented the "good but naughty American boy" portrait of the period.

which represented the ''good but naughty American boy''.

North's death was announced on social media by Laurie Jacobson, who posted the following statement on Facebook:

“Jeanne Russell just called us with some very sad but not unexpected news. Our dear friend Jay North had been battling cancer for several years and this morning at noon, Jay passed away peacefully at home.
"He had a heart as big as a mountain, he loved his friends very much. He would call us often and end every conversation with 'I love you with all my heart'. We loved him with all our hearts. He is no longer in pain, his suffering is over. He is finally at peace"

Although the world knows North as the legendary child character of the TV series "Dennis the Menace", in our country the name of this series continued to be broadcast as "Dennis the Menace" for years.

North was not actually a TV series character, but also a figure that reflected the American family structure and perception of children in the 1960s, so much so that this character was actually the son of the person who designed the comic book, but of course, things were not going well there, as in the series. But that's the subject of another story.

He's Been Fighting Silently For Years!

The actor's close circle said in a statement that North had been battling cancer for a long time, but had not shared his illness with the public. While the news of his death devastated his fans and the television world, many actors and producers posted condolences on their social media accounts.
